Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About MacMost’s Courses

What are online courses?

An online course is a large collection of video tutorials that teaches you how to use your Mac. Think of it like a computer book, but as video tutorials with narration showing you each step. Each video lesson in a course is like a chapter. You can pause, rewind and rewatch videos to learn at your own pace.

Who teaches these courses?

All of the courses here were created by Gary Rosenzweig, the host and producer of more than 2,000 video tutorials at MacMost.com. Gary has a background in both computer science and journalism, and has been writing computer books and making video tutorials for more than 25 years.

How do I access a course once I have purchased it?

Click the Your Account button at the top right corner. Once you log in, you’ll see a list of the courses you have purchased. Click the course name to see a list of lessons. Click a lesson to view the video.

How long do I have to go through the course? Can I watch the course videos again?

Once you get a course, you can take as long as you like to view the content. You can go through the videos immediately, or wait until a convenient time. You can watch them in a day or over many months. It is up to you how long you take to complete the course. You can view the videos in each course as many times as you like.

Are these videos different than the ones at MacMost.com?

The daily video tutorials at MacMost.com are about individual short topics. The videos in the courses were made specially for the course and cannot be found at the regular MacMost site. They are meant to be a more in-depth and comprehensive look at the course topic.
